Hayley Ditchburn is a recent Fine Art graduate from University College Falmouth. Her work focuses on the concept of female sexuality in modern society. She uses a traditional system of underpainting and layering, showing how the concept of sexuality is both modern and timeless.
No two people are the same and this is mirrored in the imperfect surfaces of the images; it seems like a two-way commentary about human nature.
Hayley's ink drawings are built up with sweeping and bold marks, representative of the fluidity of female sexuality, each is starkly individual like the women portrayed.
